Jordan, Belarus discuss ties ahead of joint committee meeting

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan and Belarus held political talks Tuesday and also discussed ways of enhancing relations in other fields ahead of a meeting in Minsk next month of the two countries' joint committee.

In today's meeting, foreign ministry undersecretary Nayef Zeidan briefed Belarus deputy foreign minister Valentin Rybakov about Jordan's position toward developments in Syria, Iraq and the Palestinian-Israeli peace process, Jerusalem and the fight against terrorism.

They also reviewed signed agreements as well as deals that will be sealed during the upcoming meeting of the Joint Jordanian-Belarussian Committee, which cover areas of cooperation in a host of sectors.
