Ministry signs agreement with EU to facilitate elections observers' mission

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs on Monday inked an agreement with the European Union to facilitate an EU observers mission that will observe the forthcoming parliamentary elections slated for September 20th.

Under the agreement, the Jordanian government will provide whatever facilities needed to a 110-strong EU observers mission. The agreement was signed by Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Nayef al-Zeidan, and Acting Head of the EU Mission in Amman, Egidijus Navikas.
