Government Leadership Forum begins in Amman

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister, Abdullah Ensour, Saturday, patronized the13th Government Leadership Forum, which was held here in Amman at the Royal Cultural Center, to discuss key issues pertaining to public interest.

The forum, attended by Middle East Director and Chairman of Inspirational Development Group (IDG), Jimmy Gordon, and Managing Director, Craig Preston, serves as a capacity building tool and strengthens policy and decision-making in the public sector.

Organized by the Ministry of Public Sector Development, minister Khlaif Khawaldeh, said the meeting aims to share knowledge and experiences and learn about the latest developments in the public administration field.

He explained that one of the key success factors in the field of government administration, is to run the enterprise within an open and dynamic management system, that has an impact and is influenced by the surrounding environment.

This system also consists of linked sub-systems, which require integrated work between all institutions to achieve the national goals, he said.

IDG officials also reviewed a number of modern and distinctive experiences in the field of leadership and government services development.

They said the IDG have been in a privileged position of having an exclusive partnering agreement with the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The agreement enabled us to combine our commercial and professional experience with over 200 years of leadership experience from the British Army.

They also explained ways to benefit from institutional values and military principles in the government administration.
