Jordan's field hospital starts providing services to Palestinian patients

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - staff at Jordan’s field hospital in Gaza dubbed "Gaza31" started immediately after its arrival in Gaza on Thursday to provide medical and humanitarian assistance to the injured Gazans.

The field hospital's commander Colonel Barakat Al Aqil told Petra that staff of the hospital began its mission in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to alleviate the suffering of Gazans.

Suleiman Saudi, hospital director, indicated that upon HRH Crown Prince Hussein’s directives, a number of clinics at the facility were opened to meet the needs of Palestinians in the strip, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The Crown Prince had directed the military’s Royal Medical Services to send more specialized physicians to enhance the hospital, which was established in the aftermath of the Israel war against Gaza in 2009.
