Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan, on Monday, voted in favor of the UN Security Council draft resolution (2166) on the Malaysian jet crash.

Jordan's Permanent Representative to the UN expressed condolences for victims of what he called a criminal act over Ukraine and supported a thorough investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice. He called for all parties to cooperate in the implementation of the resolution, through allowing unfettered access to the crash site and preventing its tampering.

The Security Council unanimously adopted the resolution which deplores the downing of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 in eastern Ukraine on 17 July and calls for an independent international investigation and an immediate halt to military activities in the area.
