Remittances from Jordanians expatriates reach $1.85 billion in 6 months

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Remittances from Jordanian expatriates had increased by 3.1 percent by the end of June this year, standing at $1.85 billion compared with $1.79 billion during the same period last year, according to the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ).

A statement by the CBJ said that expatriates’ remittances increased for the sixth consecutive month this year.

It added that the total remittances increased by 0.5 percent in June, standing at $359 million.
