The center said the tourist was located in the capital Amman and he is in good condition. The Peruvian tourist told police that he left Petra and came to Amman to meet some of his friends, without informing the tour group he was traveling with , police added. Police pointed out that the Peruvian was taken back to Petra to rejoin his group.

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra)--The media center at the Public Security Department announced on Thursday that police search teams had located a Peruvian tourist who went missing in Petra on April 17 .

The center said the tourist was located in the capital Amman and he is in good condition.

The Peruvian tourist told police that he left Petra and came to Amman to meet some of his friends, without informing the tour group he was traveling with , police added.

Police pointed out that the Peruvian was taken back to Petra to rejoin his group.
