Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra)--His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday met with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Jin-Young Chai.
During the meeting, the king praised the role of corporation and its partnerships with a number of Jordanian firms to help accomplish developmental goals and increase economic growth in the kingdom.
The meeting was attended by Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, Director of His Majesty's Office Imad Fakhoury and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Jaafar Hassan.
The IFC is an international financial institution which offers investment, advisory, and asset management services to encourage private sector development in developing countries.
Planning Minister meets CEO of International Finance Corporation
Also on Thursday, Minister of Planning and International Corporation Jafar Hassan met with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Jin-Young Chai.
Talks during the meeting covered the IFC's plans to expand its investments in the Kingdom this year as well as its technical support to acheive development and job opportunities for the youth.
