The figures comprised 39,720 foreigners, 3865 Jordanians and 176 316 official guests and school and university students . The city’s revenues posted from entry tickets and services rose by 18 percent last month totaling JD850,000 compared to JD720,000 in same period of 2012.

Ammon News - PETRA (Petra)--The number of visitors to the ancient city of Petra jumped by 15 percent in February this year compared to the same period of 2012 standing at 43,761 according to figures of the Petra Archeological Park.

The figures comprised 39,720 foreigners, 3865 Jordanians and 176 316 official guests and school and university students .

The city’s revenues posted from entry tickets and services rose by 18 percent last month totaling JD850,000 compared to JD720,000 in same period of 2012.
