Jordan Starts Exporting Vegetables to Lebanon

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan started on exporting vegetables to Lebanon after the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture allowed the Jordanian vegetables which were packaged by polystyrene containers to enter the country.

Previously, the Lebanese government prevented Jordanian vegetable's trucks from entering Lebanon Market.

Ministry of Agriculture released a statement on Wednesday said that the Lebanese ministry's decision will impact positively on increasing Jordanian exports of vegetables, especially cucumbers, eggplant, zucchini.

Jordan has exported about 400 tons of vegetables to Lebanon this day, the statement added.
