Ammon News - AMMONNEWS- A Jordanian source on Tuesday revealed that Syrian families residing in Za’tari tent camp in Mafraq, located in the north-east of the country, fled the camp and others returned to Syria upon their request. The source who preferred to keep his identity anonymous also told the Associated Press that about 40 Syrian families returned to their country over the last two days.
In the same vein, a high security source has recently stated that about 2000 Syrian refugees moved to the Syrian Naseeb centre at the borders after signing the required documents.
Jordan has witnessed over the last few weeks massive waves of Syrian refugees; according to official statistics, there are about 177,000 Syrian refugees in Jordanian villages, cities and camps.
