Jordanian-Saudi association to support blind women announced

Ammon News - AMMANNEWS-The Saudi Center for Rehabilitation and Training of Blind Women in Amman on Saturday celebrated the inauguration of the Jordanian-Saudi Charity Association to support blind women.

The new center, headed by Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Abdul Salam Abbadi, aims at qualifying blind women and enhancing their capacities and skills to enable them to overcome the challenges they face.

Director of the center Enas Al-Ta'efi told Petra that the center will work on developing skills of enrolled blind women, integrating them into the society and finding suitable jobs for them.

The center, she added, will also hold specialized training courses for the blind women and lure financial assistance and grants needed to achieve its goals.
