Jordan condemns massacres against Muslims in Burma

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS-The Jordanian Government Thursday condemned the massacres against Muslims in Burma.

Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications and Government Spokesperson Samih Maaytah called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in providing the necessary protection to civilians and to prevent any future recurrence of such aggressions.

The spokesperson urged to find a radical solution for the displaced Muslims in Burma, integrate them into the community and take their interests into account within the national reconciliation process.

Maaytah denounced negative statements made by some Burmese government officials against Myanmar Muslims, which religious tension, endanger lives of innocent people and encourage more violence.
