Gov't condemns massacre in Syrian town of Houla

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The government stressed its strong condemnation of the massacre that claimed the lives of innocent civilians, mainly women and children, in the Syrian town of Houla in the Homs Province.

State Minister for Media Affairs and Communications Sameeh Maayteh affirmed full rejection of the use of force and violence against civilians.

Maayteh, who is also the Government's Spokesman, stressed the government's stance, which calls for finding a political solution in Syria that ends bloodshed and preserves the country's unity and the safety of its people.
