MPs call for the release of Daqamseh

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS – Some 31 deputies on Sunday signed a memorandum requesting the Government to release Ahmad Daqamseh who is serving a prison sentence for killing a number of Israelis across the border with Israel in 1997.

Last month, activists from the Islamist movement have begun collecting signatures to support calls for releasing Daqamseh.

The 24 branches of the Islamic Action Front (IAF), the political arm of the Muslim
Brotherhood, have instructed members across the country to collect as many signatures as possible, from homes, youth gatherings, mosques and other places of public gatherings.
