Student shot at UJ, classes suspended

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A student was injured by a gun shot on Sunday after a gunman fired shots at his leg in University of Jordan's campus, a security source told Ammon News.

The student's friends transfered him to the University hospital,the investigations are undergoing to determine the incident's circumstances, the source added.

Eye-witnesses said that the student was playing in the snow and threw snowballs at the gun shooter who got angry and threatened to shoot him if he re-throws snow. The incident escalated and the gunman, who is not a student, fired and injured the man in his leg.

UJ administration suspended the classes after the incident.
