UJ Employees Protest for Pay Increase

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Ala'a Elayyan - Hundreds of the University of Jordan's Employees staged a sit-in in front of the Clock bridge on Wednesday to pressure the university to meet their pay bonuses demands.

The protesters called on the University to increase the pay bonuses, and to fix Day-Laborers employment, promotions, and increased wages and benefits.

The employees demanded that the 'parallel program' bonuses be added to the net salary, in addition to a number of administrative demands.
