Rawashdeh wins vacant Karak seat in by-election

Ammon News - Karak - Abdel Hamid Rawashdeh has won the Lower House seat ( Karak, 5th District ), in a by-election on Thursday, head of the by-election committee Jamal al-Fayez said.

The by-election was held to fill the vacant seat of MP Sharif Rawashdeh, whose membership in the House was cancelled because he held dual citizenship.

Al Fayez said that Rawashdeh had won 2,574 votes.
