The Minister said that this step stems from the Kingdom's authority over the renovation of the holy places in the city. Abbadi told "Sawt Falastin" (Palestine Voice) radio station that His Majesty King Abdullah is making contacts at the highest levels to stop the Israeli plans to destroy the bridge. Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Abdul Salam Al Abbadi said that Jordan has presented a design to the UNESCO to solve the issue of Bab Al Maghariba Bridge in Occupied Jerusalem.

The Minister said that this step stems from the Kingdom's authority over the renovation of the holy places in the city.
