Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Employees of the Aqaba Ports Authority (APA) went on strike on Wednesday morning, demanded to restructure salaries and grant full employment to day-laborers.
Protestors joined the employees of ASEZA's strike, and threatened to escalate protest measures if their demands are not met.
All APA department operations were disrupted as employees set up a protest tent in front of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority headquarters.
Ammon News learned that the protesters will send a letter to King Abdullah II about their situations.
