Umniah Kicks Off Al Riyadi Super League for Kids for the 4th Consecutive Year

AMMONNEWS – As part of its belonging to youth and sports, and in line with its commitment to basketball, Umniah announced its sponsorship of the Al Riyadi Super League for Kids activities for the fourth consecutive year.

The League commenced on 16th of September 2011, and will continue until 21th of October 2011. The renewal of the agreement with the Al Riyadi Basketball Club corresponds with Umniah’s dedication to supporting young athletes and honing their skills in order to allow them to compete in different Arab and international championships.

Ihab Hinnawi, CEO of Umniah, expressed his delight with the start of the 2011 Al Riyadi Super League for Kids and said, “We at Umniah firmly believe that these initiatives highlight the talents of potential young athletes and allow them to develop and flourish. Our partnership with Al Riyadi Club allows us to engage and interact with both the Club’s members and their parents, bringing forth an ideal opportunity to learn more about their individual telecom service needs and receive feedback on our integrated services. This enables us to customize specific products and services to our subscribers’ diverse demands and increase their confidence in what we have to offer.”

“We appreciate Al Riyadi Club’s efforts to support Jordanian basketball, which is an up-and-coming sport in Jordan that is gaining popularity among youth, and is well on its way to reaching regional competitive levels,” Hinnawi added.

As part of its support, Umniah is sponsoring the Club's basketball youth teams which comprise of approximately 400 male and female players between the ages of 5 and 15. Umniah also sponsors6 of Al Riyadi teams and the local basketball championships for both males and females aged 13, 15 ,17 and under, in addition to the activities and events the Club organizes throughout the year, allowing the Umniah team to engage with the Club’s members amidst an exciting and entertaining atmosphere.
