Nobody can ignore or should ignore the need for alternative energy. So why do we believe that a nuclear program
For a country like Jordan which is poor in energy and water resources is a must?

The safety factor nowadays in the operation of modern reactors is very high compared with those reactors of the eighties of the pervious century. In certain cases and in special kinds of reactors the risk factor was so high that in these countries these reactors are not even in operational mode. Not taking into considerations the high bill of the running cost of the safety requirements in such facilities.

The main engineering consideration in designing and production of the new reactors is to maintain the reliability of such products, since, in the original design; they are concerned about the main environmental problems.

The actuality of the program was explained, we will have power from a safety source that is dependent only on nuclear fuel, which we have the raw source to produce such fuel. Can we do that!.. Should we do that?

The world was impressed with the professionalism of Professor Tukan’s Team in Jordan Nuclear Energy Commission in building this well-organized foundation in a very small time interval, that made all our neighbor Arab countries to start copying this new challenge in this part of the world; Which is considered an unstable area.

The big question now: why a national program is needed, since we know that for optimization purposes we do need (must) to have our electricity power network be connected as much as we can to have a long network?

We do understand the obstacles that is used to face the joint-Arab projects that make the majority of them never exist, but in this game, we do need to use the principle of indifference*, that makes our players Think what is the best for our homeland?.... ..…..Politics is the right thing to treat this problem, where the King's Wisdom is needed.
