Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Activists of the Jordanian Campaign for Change "Jayeen" (We are Coming) on Wednesday evening stressed that protest demonstrations throughout the kingdom will resume on Friday, "and every friday, until the people's demands are met."
Activists in the campaign, including teachers, retired military, students, unionists, and political, leftist, Islamist, and nationalists currents, stressed that the protests will continue, and announced staging a sit-in in front of the Prime Ministry on Saturday January 29, 2011, at 2 PM.
The Campaign activists warned that a fresh wave of protests will continue to pressure for political and economic reform in the Kingdom.
The campaign however stressed the need for all political parties and opposition groups to commit to raising Jordanian flags, rather than partisan ones.
The Campaign Spokesperson Muhammad Sneid said that the campaign will launch a wide and comprehensive dialogue with all parties contributing to the activist movement in all governorates in an effort to widen the participation base of the movement.
The protest on Friday in Amman will launch from Al Husseini Mosque in downtown Amman following Friday prayers.
The demonstration in the rest of the governorates will launch from the following locations
Irbid - Al Hashemi Mosque
Karak - Al Omari Mosque
Tafileh - Tafileh's Grand Mosque
Ma'an - Grand Mosque
Aqaba - Jordanian Professional Associations' Complex - Aqaba Branch.
