MP Sounds Dangers of Al Jazeera Leaked Palestinian Concessions

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Member of the Jordanian Parliament Khalil Attiyeh on Tuesday warned of the dangers of the Palestinian documents exposed recently by the pan-Arab satellite network Al Jazeera, stressing that such documents reveal that the Palestinian cause is in "untrustworthy and questionable hands."

Attiyeh noted in a statement issued on Tuesday that "those [Palestinian] negotiators cannot be trusted with our sacred cause, therefore, the cause should be taken away from their hands as soon as possible and returned to its case before the 1974 Rabat Conference."

Attiyeh called on the Jordanian government to call for an extraordinary and urgent Arab Summit to discuss these threats.

He said that the documents reveal the dangers of "those who are compromising rights and supreme interests of Jordanians and Arab peoples," adding that the also expose the scandal of offering concessions of the rights and in the name of over six million Palestinians in diaspora "who have not been consulted."

He stressed that the recently leaked documents expose dangerous scandals of Palestinian Authority's concessions to the Israelis. "It reveals that those negotiators have no red lines, everything, regardless of now sacred, is capable of being compromised and negotiated," he added.

The MP questioned "who delegated those squanderers to compromise the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people of its legitimate and historic homeland?" Stressing that the right of return is a sacred right that cannot be compromised or squandered.
