New medical mission to head to Gaza

Ammon News - GAZA - A new medical team will leave for Gaza this week to join Jordan’s field hospital.

The new mission, dubbed “Gaza 11”, will replace “Gaza 10”, which concluded its mission on Friday. During its two months in operation, “Gaza 10” dealt with around 41,000 cases.

During a ceremony marking the conclusion of the “Gaza 10” mission on Friday, Hamas member Mahmoud Zahar extended a message of gratitude to Jordan for its support for the Palestinian people. Since its deployment in January 2009, the field hospital has dealt with 356,000 cases in the coastal enclave.
