Ammon News - AMMAN- Gendarmerie Director Maj. General Tawfeeq Hamid Tawalbeh on Saturday discussed with United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Field Support Susana Malcorra ways to foster cooperation between Jordan and the international organization especially in peacekeeping missions affiars.

Malcorra hailed Jordan's contribution in the UN peacekeeping forces in various trouble spots across the world, and said that the Jordanian forces enjoy a high level of professionalism and preservation of human rights.

Jordan is deploying peacekeepers in various disaster-stricken and war-torn nations across the world, namely in Sudan's Darfur region, Ivory Cost, Liberia, Haiti, and East Timor.
