Myassar Al Sardiyah did so as well for winning in the Northern Badia district, according to the official final election results announced by Minister of Interior Nayef al Qadi on Wednesday.

The total number of women to take part in the 16th Lower House of Parliament will be 13, after the notable victory of Reem Mudar Badran, a female who ran in Amman's notorious Third District and won by competition, earning highest votes in the district, dubbed the "Whales' District" for the fierce competition between prominent political and economic figures.

Reem Badran is an economist and daughter of former Prime Minister Mudar Badran.

Ablah Abu Elbeh is the first woman to win the women's quota in Amman this round, in addition to heading the political "Hashd" party.

Nariman Al Rousan gets re-elected to the parliament for the third time, the only female in the soon-to-be-seated parliament to return to her seat.
